Dear Readers,

Brazil won, and Mercury stationed retrograde today — an apt time for taking things back. I’m sending out the last three class reports, which Claude prepared automatically; paid subscribers will find the link below the paywall.

On the theme of taking things back: I recently published a newsletter that I have since unpublished, and which caused real shock, scandal, and offense, for which I am truly sorry. I was thinking out loud, and I was careless. I take no pleasure in the death of the innocent, and if my text gave any contrary impression, I deeply regret it. Given how fraught the subject is, I will refrain from political commentary going forward and concentrate instead on the work I am here to do: developing a polytheist philosophy, following the oracles, and honoring the gods.

A propósito de retratações: publiquei recentemente uma newsletter que desde então despubliquei, e que causou verdadeiro choque, escândalo e ofensa, pelo que peço sinceras desculpas. Eu estava pensando em voz alta, e fui descuidado. Não sinto prazer algum na morte do inocente, e, se meu texto deu impressão contrária, lamento profundamente. Dada a natureza delicada do assunto, vou me abster de comentários políticos daqui em diante e me concentrarei no trabalho que vim fazer: desenvolver uma filosofia politeísta, seguir os oráculos e honrar os deuses.
